CONCORD, MA – FEBRUARY 2016 – Join Karem Shalom in honoring Holocaust survivor, Mr. Edgar Krasa, with a special Shabbat Service and Oneg – Friday, March 4th at 7:30 PM. Mr. Krasa is a survivor of the Terezín and Auschwitz concentration camps, who has been sharing his inspiring story with children and our community for the past 10 years.

Mr Krasa is also the author of the book, The Music Man of Terezin, which details how Raphael Schaechter helped Jews survive the Holocaust with his music. Anyone interested in reading this fascinating book is welcome to borrow it from Kerem Shalom.

Mr. Krasa’s story is one of human loyalty, hope, determination, and unwavering belief in life. Listeners cannot help but be uplifted by the resilience of his spirit.
