The annual Holocaust Memorial Observance will be held on Sunday, May 5 from 7-8:30PM at Concord’s Town House. Sponsored by the CCHRC and the Town of Concord, the event is free and open to the public.

This year’s format will be slightly different than in years past. The focus of the event will be the impact of intergenerational trauma, and will include a panel discussion with three local adult children of Holocaust survivors. Elizabeth Sackton, a psychotherapist and trauma specialist, will focus questions on the ways parental trauma affects childhood, relationships, the development of resilience and its lifelong impact. We hope you will join us for this important event.
