The Concord Carlisle Human Rights Council wants to help you light your way on your "June Journey."

cchumanrightscouncil

June Journeys, an initiative of COAR (Communities Organizing Against Racism), is a month-long series of community events focused on racial awareness and social justice. To help spread the word, CCHRC

has partnered with the Concord Free Public Library and the Concord Council on Aging to

give out kits for making tea candle lanterns decorated with inspiring, thought-provoking quotes.

We share the words of luminaries -- Martin Luther King, Jr., Angela Davis, Audre Lorde, Isabel Wilkerson, Ta Nahesi Coates, June Jordan, Gwendolyn Brooks, Langston Hughes, Toni Morrison, James Baldwin -- as we work together for change.

Visit coaraction.org for more information about June Journeys.
